OUR STORY

Founder of Solstice Studio

Rosie Taylor (She/They)

I have been practicing pole fitness and other aerial fitness disciplines (including static trapeze and hoop) since 2014 with a previous background in dance and gymnastics.

I discovered pole fitness at university. After recovering from a broken spine I was told I needed to do exercise that keeps my core strong. I thought I’d give pole a try and have never looked back! It has given me confidence, strength, endless joy and not to mention helped hugely with my back pain.

I graduated from University with First Class Honours in Primary Education with Music Specialism. After teaching at a London primary school for four years (whilst still keeping up with my pole practice and training for three years at the National Centre of Circus Arts) I decided to try and pursue my goal of starting my own business.

Kate has 490 hours of yoga teacher training in Vinyasa, Rocket and Yin. Coming from a music inspired Rocket community, Kate creates her own mixes to the beat, as a metronome for your breathe, which can so easily get lost!
